Te amo. Te quiero. Te adoro.
An all-Spanish choral concert of songs centered around love. This program is in many ways a love letter to Latine folks and subverts many stereotypes associated with Latine folks, giving a fuller picture of our humanity that goes beyond one-note depictions like “the Latin lover" or “the hardworking immigrant." In all the music, the poetry is central and is meant to inspire all folks alike, emotionally and through the literary devices in the poems. The poetry explores deeper dimensions of romantic love: love as a source of resilience, love as a way to process grief and find strength, and love as a way to preserve and share our culture as a diaspora.
